Welcome The Fort Worth Camera Club was founded in 1930. We are dedicated to the cultivation of photography as an art form and hobby through the sharing of knowledge. Our goal is to provide you with useful information about our club. It’s our hope that if you enjoy photography you will enjoy associating with us. We are presently over 100 members and offer education, competition and fun. We share our knowledge by joining in group activities that allow us to share our experiences. There is a broad range of skill levels within the group and, through sharing, we are able to achieve higher degrees of technical and artistic ability. Through these activities we hope to nurture the ability to “see” and to share our interest in photography as a form of artistic expression. Monthly contests are used as the structure for learning, sharing, and challenging ourselves in our hobby. Members are not required to submit images for competition but are encouraged to do so as a way to develop their skills. Thanks for visiting and we look forward to seeing you at one of our meetings.
