BAPC General Information
The Bay Area Photo Club is a non-profit organization of amateur and professional photographers in the Houston/Galveston Bay Area. The BAPC is a great place:
- to learn about photography from fellow members
- to learn about upcoming photography events (exhibitions, field trips, workshops)
- to display and have your work critiqued
- to get and share good sources of photography-related information
- The club meets twice a month (except December), on the second and fourth Tuesdays in the building at the south entrance to Clear Lake Park. At the first meeting of the month, members bring their work for critiqe and discussion (also referred as the Honors Program Night). The second meeting is usually a special program, where guests come to speak to the club on various topics or the club critiques work from an outside organization such as PSA or the GSCCA. There is also a monthly newsletter that lists announcements, essays on subjects of photographic interest, buy/sell ads, and other goodies.
