Our Club
The Plano Photography Club is located in Plano, Texas, and serves the northern portion of Dallas and surrounding suburbs. The Plano Photography Club was established in 1984 for anyone interested in photography. All skill levels, from beginner to professional, are welcome.
Visitors and prospective members may attend up to three meetings before joining. There is no need to notify the club in advance if you wish to attend a meeting to see what we are all about. Just show up! There are over 120 members of all skill levels. Dues are $24 a year ($12 if you join mid-year(our club year runs from May thru April)) for the whole family. Application forms are available at the door. The club owns a set of professional studio lights available for rental to members.
Monthly Meetings
Club meetings are at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th Monday of every month in the Christian Education Building of Grace Presbyterian Church, 4300 West Park Blvd., Plano TX. The church is located between Coit Rd. and Preston Rd. on Park Blvd. Click on the following link for more information and a map.
Monthly Newsletter
There is a monthly newletter to keep you informed of what is going on in the club. We have a monthly contest, for competition between club members, which is great for getting feedback on your photography.
Monthly Competition
As a member, you may enter our monthly competition. Each month is a different subject for the competition. It is a great way to see how you are doing and what others do. Check out our Competition Information page for more details.
Other Organization Membership
The club is a member of The Photographic Society of America(PSA) and the Gulf States Camera Club Council(GSCCC).
